an especially big and festive Critical Mass
in the city of Vancouver, meet 530, leave 6pm
from the Vancouver Art Gallery Downtown
on the side with all the people with bikes and costumes
bikes are freedom in motion!
Up to 2000 cyclists hit the streets of Downtown Vancouver on Friday for what’s becoming a monthly ride drawing attention to the need for more bike lanes and improved safety.
“I just think the idea of making it safer is a good idea.”
“It’s just a great gathering of people being on the road promoting bicycle rides.”
Most riders, part of the “Critical Mass” ride, say they don’t deliberately want to disrupt traffic, but believe there is more strength in numbers.
