Osoyoos

Osoyoos is a unique, vibrant, growing community located in the heart of Desert Wine Country. The city enjoys semi-arid climate that produces very hot, dry days in the summer and very mild days in the winter.

Osoyoos Lake is the warmest fresh water lake in Canada and provides for great summer time activities. With summer water temperatures hovering around 24^(o)C (70^(o)F), Canada’s warmest lake provides ample swimming, parasailing, jet skiing, and windsurfing opportunities.

Osoyoos boasts the Okanagan's earliest growing season. Stock up on fresh apricots, cherries, peaches, pears, and plums from July to September, as you make your way past the fruit stands that dot the roads.

Home to Canada's only arid desert, Osoyoos allows plenty of opportunities to view rare animals, plants, birds, and insects.
